Alpine von Alken is a beautiful 2-3 year old bi-color German Shepherd. Alpine might look  a little serious in his photo, but underneath his stunning  looks is a very sweet  boy who would love to be your center of attention.  There is something special about him that draws you in.  He is so appreciative of attention and will be a devoted best friend. Always up for lots of pets and ear rubs, he will lean against you or put his beautiful Shepherd head in your lap. Medium-energy Alpine is a friendly and social boy who greets people and dogs politely. He walks well on leash and knows a few of his commands -- like sit and how to take a treat gently. He does great in playgroups, even giving some dogs kisses, and has fun splashing in the kiddie pool.  Someone is bound to look in those soulful eyes and know Alpine is destined to be their friend forever.  Could that be you?
